Yasmine is a one year old Foxhound with the sweetest soul. She came to FDHS from another facility after being rescued from a hoarding situation, and while her start in life wasn’t an easy one, she’s ready for a fresh chapter filled with kindness, patience, and love.

Right now, Yasmine is still learning how to “dog.” She can be timid and shut down at first, but every single day she makes progress and shows us more of her gentle personality. She is incredibly sweet and submissive with her caregivers and does beautifully with other animals. In fact, we think Yasmine would blossom with a confident dog in her new home to show her the ropes.

Because of her past, Yasmine is essentially starting from puppy basics when it comes to potty training and routine. She’ll need a family willing to be patient, consistent, and encouraging as she continues to grow. She will also need a secure yard or careful supervision outdoors, as she could be a flight risk while she adjusts.

Yasmine has so much love to give, and we know that with the right family, she’s going to bloom into the best dog she was always meant to be. She is available now for immediate foster or adoption.
