This little cutie pie is Wesson! Wesson is a younger Jack Russell Terrier who recently came to our shelter as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed by his previous family.

Wesson can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a soft voice, a little coaxing, and a few minutes to get comfortable – and you’ll quickly see his sweet personality come out. Once he decides you’re his person, he wants to be RIGHT by your side. Wesson would absolutely love to live the lavish life of a professional lap dog and full time human companion.

He’s still working on his leash manners and would likely be more comfortable exploring the world in a harness. Wesson has been friendly with other dogs and would also be perfectly happy sharing his home with a kitty. When it comes to kids, Wesson would probably prefer the older crowd since he can be a nervous little guy.

Wesson is seriously the sweetest little pup, we know he won’t be with us for very long!
