The name’s Tennessee. I’m an 8 to 9 year old tuxedo lady who arrived here back in April as part of a hoarding case, and I’ve been waiting ever since for someone with good taste and a comfortable couch to take me home.

The youngsters in my cat room may call me “grumpy,” but I prefer “experienced.” I like my peace, my quiet, and for everyone to follow the rules. Somebody around here has to keep the riffraff in line, and apparently that somebody is me.

I’m not looking for anything too wild in my retirement years. A calm home, a sunny window, and humans who appreciate a gal with a little puuurrrsonality would suit me just fine. Other mellow cats and respectful dogs are acceptable tenants, provided they understand that I am the sheriff, mayor, and queen of the household.

Beneath my tough exterior is just a sweet ol’ thing who’s had a tough past and would really love a person to call her own. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have important business to attend to, namely glaring at the others and supervising everything.
