Sienna is a gorgeous red haired girlie who recently arrived at FDHS as a stray and was never reclaimed by her previous family.

She is still very new to shelter life and is taking her time figuring everything out. Sienna didn’t seem to get a lot of socialization in her early life, so right now new people can feel a little scary. But if you give her a soft voice, a calm presence, and maybe a treat or two, she starts to realize the world isn’t so big and overwhelming after all.

She does well on leash once she gets going, though she may need a little encouragement at first. Sienna is still decompressing, but we are already starting to see glimpses of the good girl she is going to become. We don’t know much about her history with other animals. She seems unsure of the other shelter dogs right now, and she has not yet been tested with cats.

Sienna is in that delicate in between stage where everything is new and a little uncertain, but you can just tell there is something special waiting to shine through. With patience, love, and time to settle in – this pretty girl is going to blossom into something wonderful.
