This sweet guy is Sawyer! He and his brother Finn (also available) recently found themselves here at FDHS after their previous owner could no longer care for them. Sawyer is a little more timid in comparison to his big brother, but he is equally as sweet and loving.

Sawyer is gradually coming out of his shell with our staff and is catching onto leash-walking with ease! We were told that he has the tendency to be a runner, so he would benefit from someone willing to continue leash-training or a home with a fenced yard. Sawyer is a beautiful singer, and like most huskies, can be pretty vocal.

He has lived with cats, kids, and other dogs in his previous home and does fine with everyone. He is also kennel-trained and keeps a tidy space here at the shelter throughout the day! With some extra guidance and a little confidence, we know that Sawyer is going to be the bestest boy!
