Hi, I’m Sammy!

I’ve been hanging out at FDHS for a few months now, and I’m starting to think I might be one of the shelter’s best kept secrets. When I first got here, my best friend Bella was by my side. We spent our days snoozing together and keeping each other company until she found her forever family. I’m so happy for her… but I have to admit, I miss having my buddy around.

Lucky for me, I’m a pretty easygoing guy. My favorite hobbies include lounging, purring, accepting pets, and turning any available lap into my personal bed. If you’re looking for a cat who’s content just hanging out by your side, I think we’d get along great.

I do well with the other cats here, but I’m such a laid back fella that I usually let the bigger personalities have their way and tend to get bullied. I’d fit in best with another calm kitty, or I’d be perfectly happy soaking up all of your attention instead.

I’ve been patiently waiting for my turn, and I have a feeling my person is out there somewhere. Until then, I’ll be here, practicing my lap cat skills. I take my job very seriously.
