This sweet lady is Miss Pecan! Pecan is a walking ray of sunshine with a big ol’ smile on her face! She came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed by her previous family.

Pecan is a higher energy girl that loves to play hard and love even harder. She does great in the fenced yard out back and seems to have a decent recall. She keeps a clean kennel through the day and is interested in making doggie friends. We have not yet cat-tested her, but we’re pretty confident she’ll be alright with them.

If you’ve stopped by our shelter in the short time she’s been here you’ve likely heard her singing in the back….although her singing sounds more like a squawking chicken. Hey, at least she’s entertaining!
