Hi, I’m Moose.

I’ve been through a lot in my life. My beloved human passed away, and I’ve never really recovered. I became more anxious and scared in the home, and it eventually became too much for me to handle on my own. That’s why I’m here at FDHS, looking for a peaceful place where I won’t be alone too much and can finally start to heal.

I may be around 8 or 9 years old, but I’ve still got so much love and energy to give. I’ve got these cloudy eyes and a soft, powdered sugar muzzle that show the years I’ve lived, but I’ve still got plenty of time left to share with the right family. I’m in great shape, and I just need a calm, loving home to call my own.

I haven’t spent much time around other animals, but I’m not an aggressive guy—just a little shy and nervous. I’m hoping to find a family who understands what I’ve been through and can give me the love and comfort I need to feel safe again.
