Hi, I’m Mako! I’m a very cute pup with a very important need for attention.

I recently arrived at FDHS as a stray and, unfortunately, my previous family never came looking for me. I’ve only been here a short time, but I’ve already made myself very comfortable with the staff. I’m happiest when I’m right in the middle of whatever is going on, preferably receiving some one-on-one attention. If I’m being ignored, I may start singing the song of my people… although the humans insist I sound more like a squealing pig than a singer. I think they’re just jealous of my talent.

I’m a happy, energetic guy who can go from bouncing around and playing to attempting to climb into your arms for a snuggle in about two seconds. Typical puppy behavior, really. I’m still working on my leash manners, but I’m catching on! I also keep my kennel impressively clean, so the humans think I may have some experience living in a house and could already be potty trained. Look at me, I’m full of surprises!

I’ve been curious about the other animals I’ve met so far, although I haven’t had enough time here to really show everyone what I think about them. With my sweet personality and easygoing attitude, the humans think I could be a great fit for all sorts of families. I’m ready to find someone who will give me all the attention, playtime, cuddles, and love a fella like me could possibly want.
