Hello humans!

My name is Lonnie and let me tell you a little about myself. You see, I’m a more mature pup that was surrendered to FDHS back in September after I was left by my owner who never returned. I’m not taking it personal though, I know I’m a good boy and it wasn’t my fault. But now I’m looking for a forever home where I’ll be treated like family and never left behind again.

Don’t let my age deter you! I’m in great shape and play as hard as any of these other pups. I just have the benefit of being house-trained and experience living as a member of the family. I pinky-promise (if I had fingers!) that I will NOT chew up your couch or make a stuffing surprise of the throw pillows. Not only that, but I promise to be a loving and loyal companion to our family.

I’m looking for a home where I get lots of pets and belly rubs. I seem to get along better with the calmer dogs, as the more reactive ones tend to get me worked up.  I don’t know if I’ve ever been around cats or other small animals, so slow introductions with any other pets is a MUST! I get along great with people of all ages.
