Meet mama Krystal!

This beautiful charcoal grey girl came to FDHS as a very pregnant stray, looking for a safe place to land. Not long after arriving, she welcomed a litter of chunky, healthy kittens and has been doing an amazing job caring for them ever since. Whether it’s her first litter or not, Krystal has taken to motherhood like a pro. She’s attentive, loving, and completely devoted to her babies.

Outside of mom duties, Krystal is an absolute sweetheart. She’s social, affectionate, and always ready for some extra affection from her caregivers. Give her a good chin rub and a little forehead kiss, and she’s in heaven. She’s still a younger cat, so every now and then she’ll get a burst of playful energy, but she’s just as content curling up for some cuddles.

It will still be a little while before Krystal is ready to leave the shelter and her babies, but we’d love to have her forever home lined up and waiting for her when the time comes. She’s more than ready for a future where she can be the one getting all the love and attention.
