Greetings humans!

The name is Juniper and I’m a pointy-eared girl that was found running as a stray and was never reclaimed by my previous folks. After several days of hanging out at FDHS and waiting for someone to come and realizing that no one was, I’ve decided to set my sights on finding a new family to love me forever and ever.

I’m always called a “pretty” or “smart” girl by my caretakers and I really love the compliments and attention. I would love for my new family to have the time to give me what I’m looking for. I learn new things with ease so catching onto your household routine shouldn’t be too hard for me!

The staff said I am pretty strong on leash- so I would likely do best in a home with a fenced yard. I have also been pretty reactive to some of the other shelter dogs so if I were to be sharing a home with another doggie sibling, we would need to meet and check each other out. I’m not sure how I feel about kitties or other small animals, so slow introductions would be the best.

Although I am heartworm positive, I have begun treatment and the veterinary team at FDHS is confident I have a long and fulfilling life ahead of me! You’re welcome to chat with the staff more about what that entails.

I don’t plan on hanging around these kennels long, so if you think we could be a good match fill out the application for me now!
