Julius is an adorable little Miniature Pinscher who recently arrived at FDHS after his previous owner could no longer care for him.

This small guy has one very clear opinion about life in the shelter… he would really prefer not to be here. Julius is happiest when he is with people and is hoping for a home where he doesn’t have to spend much time alone. If you’re looking for a shadow, a sidekick, or a professional lap warmer – Julius is ready for the job.

He is a sweet, curious little dude who has been friendly with staff and volunteers and is always interested in what’s going on around him. We were told he hasn’t had much exposure to other dogs, but he does show interest in them here at the shelter. He is also reported to like chasing cats, but has never ever tried to hurt one. Julius has not had much experience with kids, but his sweet personality suggests he could do well with the right match and proper introductions.

At the end of the day, Julius is looking for the simple life. A cozy spot on the couch, a person to follow from room to room, and someone who thinks a tiny dog taking up 90% of the bed is perfectly reasonable.
