Hi there! My name’s Helen, and I’m here looking for my perfect person—could that be you?

 

I’m an Australian Shepherd mix, and I’ve got this gorgeous, fluffy merle coat that’s a little unique. My friends at the shelter say I’m a “double merle,” which is why I was born mostly blind and deaf. But don’t worry, I’m a smart girl, and I don’t let it slow me down one bit!

 

I’ll admit, life hasn’t always been easy. I was found as a stray with my fur all tangled, but then a kind soul from FDHS took me in to foster, and wow, I felt safe and loved! I’ve learned so much about myself since then, too. For one, I absolutely love other animals—though my excitement sometimes gets the better of me. I may need a little help with my manners, but I’m always eager to learn and just want to be everyone’s friend!

 

If I could describe myself in one word, it would be “velcro.” I want to be right by your side all the time! So, I’m looking for a home where I can be close to my person, soaking up all the love and giving you every ounce of my loyalty in return. If you have experience with special pups like me, I know we’ll make the best team.
