This sweet and sassy mama cat came to FDHS just a few days before Christmas in heartbreaking condition. She and her two kittens, Spaghetti and Meatball (also available for adoption), were crammed into a filthy hamster cage and left outside the shelter with no explanation. The trio arrived scared, smelly, and in desperate need of care. Garlic Bread, the BEST mama, stood protectively over her babies despite her own discomfort. A too-tight flea collar had left her with bald patches, and the smell of cigarettes and urine clung to her fur.

Don’t worry, Garlic Bread’s story gets better. After a bath, a full belly, and much-needed medical care, she’s a new kitty! Now, her sweet personality is shining brighter than ever. Garlic Bread adores people and loves soaking up affection. Whether she’s purring on your lap or rubbing against your legs for attention, she makes it known that she’s grateful to be here.
