Hello everyone, I’m Ember. I’m a sweet little gray and white kitty, and I have quite a story to tell.

I first came to FDHS back in October of 2025 after I was found likely hit by a car. I had a fractured pelvis and a whole lot of healing ahead of me. Thankfully, I had some wonderful humans in my corner. The FDHS team took great care of me, and I was lucky enough to spend most of my recovery in a loving foster home where I got to start learning what it was like to be a pampered little house cat.

Eventually, I found what I thought was my forever home. My humans loved me very much, but unfortunately, one of my resident feline siblings decided that sharing a home with me was simply not in the cards. So here I am, back at the shelter and waiting for my happily ever after.

I’m still a young girl, but sometimes I feel like I have the soul of a much older cat. I’ve already lived through so much and, honestly, I’m ready for a quieter chapter. I’m looking for a peaceful home, someone who will love me endlessly and, most importantly, a forever cuddle buddy.

I have experience living with other animals, but I definitely prefer the calmer crowd. I’ve been sweet with humans of all shapes and sizes, and I’m always happy to receive some love and attention. Because of my previous pelvic injury, my new family will need to be mindful of my history and handle me gently and with care.

I’ve already had more than my fair share of plot twists. I’m really hoping this next chapter is the one where I finally get to stay. I’ve been through so much, and I think it’s finally time for something simple: a safe home, a loving family and a forever place to belong.
