Dustin is a HUGE tabby and white guy who was found outside and brought to the safety of FDHS. His finder said Dustin clearly had no idea what he was doing out there and seemed completely lost. When he arrived, we scanned him for a microchip and, thankfully, found one. We were finally able to learn his name and that he’s 8 years old and had previously been adopted from a shelter in another state.

Unfortunately, the chip led us to a dead end. And no one ever came looking for Dustin.

It’s hard not to wonder how a cat this sweet ended up outside and alone. Dustin has the most easy-going personality and is an absolute lovebug. It’s clear that at some point, someone loved this big guy very much, which makes it even harder to understand how he ended up back in a shelter as a “stray”.

But Dustin is here now, and we’re determined to make sure the rest of his nine lives look very different. He deserves a cozy home, plenty of attention, and all the luxury a giant gentleman could ask for.

Let’s make sure this is the last shelter he ever has to call home.
