Meet Charlie, a sweet and sensitive senior Husky looking for a peaceful place to call home. Charlie came to FDHS with her senior buddy Richie, and she is still adjusting to the chaos of shelter life. True to her Husky roots, Charlie is a beautiful singer and can often get the whole shelter joining in her canine chorus.

Though timid, Charlie has shown nothing but sweetness toward her caregivers. This busy place is a lot for her, and what she really needs is peace, routine, and someone to love her. After everything she has been through, a cozy bed and gentle reminders that she is a good girl are the least we can give her.

We do not know if Charlie has been around children, but we think she would likely prefer a quieter home with older or no children where she can enjoy her golden years. We also do not know if she has been around cats, but her age and gentle nature suggest she would not be aggressive. Meet and greets and home trials are highly recommended to ensure a perfect fit.
