Champagne is a beautiful, sweet, affectionate girl who was surrendered to FDHS on New Year’s Eve. Since her arrival, she’s been nothing but pure joy and excitement with our staff and volunteers, radiating big Buddy the Elf energy everywhere she goes. To Champagne, every day feels like a celebration, and she’s always ready to share her happy, friendly spirit with anyone she meets.

We were told Champagne has previously lived with children and other animals. While she enjoys meeting new people, she can be a little nervous when introduced to unfamiliar faces or new environments, so slow and steady is the best approach to help her feel comfortable and confident.

Champagne is still a young dog who didn’t have many opportunities for socialization, training, or learning basic manners prior to coming into our care. Because of this, she is still building her confidence and learning as she goes during her time at the shelter. She will thrive in a home that can offer patience, structure, and the time needed to continue her training and help her grow into her best self.

She is an incredibly loving dog with a huge heart and so much potential. We know Champagne’s perfect home is out there!
