Bowie is a cute little Retriever mix who has quickly stolen our hearts here at FDHS! He was found as a stray and unfortunately was never reclaimed by his previous family. Since we do not have any background on him, we are still getting to know this handsome young man.

Bowie is still a bit anxious as he settles into shelter life. With so many new sights, sounds, and smells, it can be a lot for a sensitive boy like him. Even so, he has done a great job keeping a clean kennel and is quickly catching on to the daily routine.

He seems very curious about the other shelter dogs and has not shown any signs of aggression toward them or our staff. His leash manners are still a work in progress, but with a little training and consistency, we know he will pick things up in no time.

Bowie is a sweet, loving pup who just needs a family to give him a good home. Once he finds his footing, this boy is sure to shine.
