Hi friends, my name is Benny and I am a four year old Shepherd mix with a smile that can light up the whole room. Life was not so kind to me before I came to FDHS. I was very thin and not being cared for the way a good boy should be. But those days are behind me now and I am all about good vibes only.

I am a higher energy kind of guy and sometimes the kennel makes me a little anxious, which is pretty common for Shepherds like me. I have shown a bit of reactivity toward the more high strung dogs, but in a calmer environment I think I could make some canine buddies.

What everyone here keeps saying is that I am a big ol lovebug. I adore attention from staff and volunteers and I just know there is a family out there who will see my goofy grin and realize I am the one. My best days are still ahead of me and I cannot wait to share them with you.
