This terrific tabby girl is Befana!

Befana has been hanging out with us for a few months now and is still looking for her purr-fect match! Befana was dumped on our doorstep on Christmas morning with a litter of kittens in tow. She was an excellent mom to her babies who all have found their own families and has been patiently waiting for her turn.

She does great with all the other kitties she has shared her space with and has been a source of comfort for all the new and scared residents. Because of this, we think she would be happiest in a home with other cats. As for dogs? She hasn’t been terribly bothered by the sounds and smells of her canine neighbors.

Befana is not a cat that loves to be held or picked up until she’s comfortable with you. She’s real big on consent! So she might not be the best choice for a home with very small children.

She is truly a diamond in the rough and we know that she’s going to give so much love to her future family!
