Oh, Miss Bailey!

Bailey is the cute tan and white lady that’s been hanging around our facility for the last 6 months. Although she’s definitely a favorite for us, we still can’t figure out why she’s been here so long.

Bailey originally came to FDHS back at the end of June 2023 as a stray and was never reclaimed by her family. She was very nervous when she first got here but quickly stole the heart’s of employees and volunteers. If her perfect little triangle ears don’t have you swooning, than her giant heart and sloppy kisses definitely will.

She’s a younger, active dog that would love to be in a home where she can keep her brain and body busy! She’s prone to some separation anxiety and can be destructive if she doesn’t have something to keep her occupied. Bailey would also need a home willing to go on lots of leash-walks or allowing her to have space to  burn some energy.

Preferring the life as a solo animal, Bailey is perfect for someone looking for a dog to keep them company. She promises to be a loving and loyal companion to a family that’s willing to give her patience and structure.
