Meet Azula, a gorgeous blue eyed girl who is still learning that the world is not such a scary place after all.

Azula recently returned to FDHS after not quite settling into her previous home, and she is still trying to understand what “home” really means. She can be a very nervous, unsure girl with new people and new situations. But we have also seen a whole other happy, playful side of her.

Azula would thrive in a calm, patient home with another confident dog who can help show her how to dog. She does best going slow and steady in new situations, but once she warms up, her personality shines. She has attended several community events and truly enjoys attention from people once she feels safe.

She loves running and playing in the fenced yard with her canine friends, and when her confidence comes out, she is all smiles and tail wags. Once she chooses you as her person, Azula becomes the most loyal companion. Some might even describe her as a true Level 5 Clinger who will follow you everywhere and will try to become your little shadow.

At just over a year old, she is still very much a puppy with a bright future ahead of her. Azula is fully vetted and available for immediate foster or adoption.
