Role of the Board
Our Board of Directors is a volunteer-based group of individuals responsible for the management, affairs and property of FDHS. One of their main responsibilities is fundraising efforts.

How to Become a Board Member
To become a board member, you must submit your resume to the Nominating Committee at least 60 days prior to the Annual Meeting in January. The Annual Meeting date is the 3rd Wednesday in January via Zoom @ 6:00 p.m. During this meeting, board members will have the opportunity to select new members to the Board of Directors. New board member terms begin immediately and have a three-year span (unless assuming an existing term due to a resignation).
Board Meetings
The Board of Directors meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm via Zoom or at Biggby Coffee conference room (E. 2nd St). The Annual Meeting to elect new board members is held in January. Board meetings are open to the public.
