Chet is an adorable Shepherd/Lab mix who has recently found himself back at the shelter after things didn’t quite work out with his previous family.

This handsome boy is young, energetic and full of potential! He needs an active home that can keep both his brain and body busy. When he’s settled, Chet is such a good boy who is eager to learn and please his people. With some patience, consistency and positive direction – we have no doubt this guy can go on to do great things!

Chet does have a bit of a prey drive, and we were told he has a history of chasing birds and other outdoor critters. He’s generally friendly with other dogs, though he can come on a little strong during playtime. He keeps an immaculate kennel, is always happy to meet a new friend and has so much going for him! He’ll need some continued work on basic manners and leash skills, as he’s an excitable guy who hasn’t quite figured out just how big he is.

Chet is still learning, growing and figuring things out, and he’s looking for a family willing to help him along the way. We know his perfect match is out there!
