This handsome black Lab mix is Mr. Bernie! He may be a little shy at first, but give him a minute and you’ll see what a total sweetheart he is! Bernie came to FDHS as a stray and was never reclaimed, but he’s quickly been making friends with our staff and showing off his wonderful personality.

He’s been well-mannered, easy to handle, and really neutral and calm with the other dogs in our fenced play area. He might even like having a canine companion in his forever home! He had no reaction to our cats, although slow introductions are always recommended.

Give this sweet boy a chance and we think you’ll be very glad you did!
