Hi everyone, I’m Mr. Sesame! I’m a friendly little black kitten, and I’ve already had quite the adventure for someone so tiny.

I came to FDHS after some humans called about kittens with “goopy” eyes. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was in much rougher shape than anyone expected. My eyes were seriously infected, and I was so covered in fleas that it was a wonder I was even standing. In fact, my humans weren’t sure I was going to make it through the night.

But I decided I wasn’t quite ready to give up.

After some pretty intense medical care, lots and lots of baths, good food and an even bigger helping of love, I’m feeling TONS better! My eyes have improved substantially and will keep healing with time. It’s likely I may never regain full use of my vision and I could be vision impaired, but honestly, I don’t let that slow me down one bit.

And after everything I’ve been through, I’m still a sweet and trusting little guy. I love my caregivers, I love getting attention and I’m always happy to have a human friend come spend some time with me.

I’ve already fought pretty hard to get here, and now I’m ready for the easy part. I just need a forever family who will love me exactly as I am and let me be their very best little buddy. I think I’ve got a whole lot of love left to give.
