Say hello to Nova!

Nova is a beautiful American Bulldog who recently arrived at FDHS with her son Suborn (also available) through no fault of their own.

Mama Nova is calm, independent, and very well mannered. She enjoys spending time with her people and getting some attention, but she doesn’t need to be glued to your side every second. She’s perfectly happy hanging out nearby and enjoying some quiet time, too. She’s been wonderful with our staff and has been a great girl all around.

We were told Nova has experience living with kids and other animals, and so far, she’s been taking her time to warm up to all of the big changes here at the shelter. Once she warms up, she’s pretty easy to handle and enjoys getting out of her kennel for some one on one time.

Nova has been through a lot of change, and she deserves a home where she can finally settle in, feel safe, and be loved for good. She’s a wonderful dog with so much to offer, and we really hope her perfect family comes along soon.
