Little Apollo came to FDHS as a stray alongside his bestie Artemis. He’s estimated to be around 6 years old and we are guessing him to be a Poodle mix with a whole lot of personality packed into a very small frame.

Apollo might be a little guy, but he fully believes he is “large and in charge.” He’s got big feelings, a little bit of sass, and absolutely no awareness of how small he actually is. He carries himself like he runs the place, even if he could be mistaken for a well-loved stuffed animal.

Once he’s comfortable, Apollo is social and engaging, with a confident streak that comes out more and more as he settles in. New people and situations can take him a moment to warm up to, but he adjusts with time and consistency. He does well on leash and enjoys getting out for strolls at his own pace. He would prefer a low-traffic, calm home with a cozy spot where he can keep an eye on everything.

Apollo would love to be adopted with Artemis, since they came in together and definitely seem to bring each other comfort. However, he could also do well on his own as long as he has a patient home that understands his spicy little “boss dog” personality.
