Hey there, I’m Gloria!

Not too long ago, I was busy raising eight little babies and sending them off to their forever homes one by one. I did my job, gave them everything I had… and now it’s my turn. Somehow, I’m still here waiting, and everyone keeps saying they can’t believe it.

These days, I’m living my best “retired mom” life. I’ve discovered that I love to play, especially if there’s a ball involved. I could chase it around the yard for hours like it’s my full-time job. And when I’m all tuckered out? I’m all about a good snuggle session. Balance, you know?

I’m a neat girl and keep my kennel nice and tidy, and I really enjoy getting out in the sunshine with my favorite people. I can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but give me a snack (peanut butter or bacon… just saying) and I’ll be your best friend in no time.

I’ve lived with other dogs before and don’t seem to mind them here at the shelter, but I do appreciate slow introductions. I like to take my time getting to know new friends. I’ve also been told I have a bit of a prey drive, so homes with smaller animals might not be the best fit for me.

At the end of the day, I’m just a happy, silly girl who loves to play, loves to cuddle, and is so ready to have someone of my very own. I’ve spent so much time taking care of everyone else… I think it’s finally my turn to be someone’s baby.
