Everyone meet Jasper!

Jasper came to us after his owner could no longer take care of him, to no fault of his own. He was very scared and confused about his new environment. But now he is starting to warm up and is a good boy. He is happiest when he is outside! He loves to go on walks or simply hang out in the back yard!

Since it has taken him a bit to warm up to us, slow introductions and multiple meet and greets would be best. He is a good dog but may need a calmer environment with a more experienced family. He would do best in a home with older (15+) or no children.

He does struggle with going back into his kennel here at the shelter, so we think he would do best with a home where he has free range of the house or at least a room that he can hang out in while you’re away.
