ROLE OF THE BOARD:
The FDHS Board of Directors is a volunteer-based group of individuals responsible for the management, affairs and property of FDHS. Because the Board has been made of so few numbers over the years, they simultaneously act as an Auxiliary Board, which handles fundraising efforts.
HOW TO BECOME A BOARD MEMBER:
To become a Board of Directors Member, you must first be a voting Member of FDHS and then submit application to the Nominating Committee 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting (held the third Wednesday of October). The Nominating Committee will then send out a ballot of all of the eligible candidates to all voting Members. New Board Members terms begin the first of the year.
Board Members serve a three-year term and may be elected for two consecutive terms.
BOARD MEETING TIME/LOCATION:
The Board meets the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm in the Tiffin Room of Defiance Regional Hospital.
These meetings are always open to the public.
