Ripley is a handsome collie-mix that came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed by his humans. Ripley is textbook herding breed with the personality to match. He may be smaller but he has a firecracker demeanor and can go for hours. Because of this, he would really benefit from a home where he gets lots of exercise to stimulate his body and brain.

He seems interested in befriending other dogs, but some of the more intense ones he can be reactive to. We all think Ripley would do a much better job at making new canine friends away from a shelter environment, where it’s a little less chaotic and overwhelming. We do not know if he’s ever been around cats or other small animals.
