Everyone, meet Mr. Johnny.
Johnny and his rugged good looks has been with us for several weeks now. He was picked up as a stray when he was trapped as part of a large TNR event that was held within our community. Johnny was just way too sweet to go back onto the streets and was very obviously someone’s companion at one point in his life.
Upon intake, Johnny was tested for FIV and FeLV, although he tested negative for Feline Leukemia, he did test positive for FIV. So, what does that mean? Johnny can live a purrfectly normal life as an indoor cat! FIV is NOT a death sentence! Because he does have a compromised immune system, he will need to be in an indoor home as either the only cat or he can live in a home with other friendly FIV+ cats. Johnny has exhibited no signs of sickness and is very active and friendly.
Johnny’s favorite past-time is batting the toys around in his kennel or rolling around in some catnip. He’s a very playful cat and is going to love having a home to romp around in. If you didn’t notice his funny little ear, he is missing the tip! That was done when he was neutered at the TNR event. We think it adds character to his handsome appearance.

This ex-street cat is so ready for a loving home of his own and can’t wait to be adopted!
