Is that a dog or a cow!? Doesn’t matter, he’s 100% cutie. This is Holstein!
Holstein came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed by his family. He’s a simple dude with simple requests- he’d like a comfy bed of his own, a bone to chew on, and some peace and quiet! Holstein doesn’t love shelter life and all of the noise that comes with it. He doesn’t mind the other dogs when he’s outside checking them out through the fence, but he doesn’t like when they pass his kennel indoors. We think he would be fine with other pups but would require a Meet & Greet if he were going home with some canine siblings. Because he came as a stray, we do not know how he is with small children or animals.
Holstein keeps a clean kennel and does okay on leash. He’s very sweet with all of the staff and volunteers and loves to have his big floppy ears rubbed.
