Buttercup’s young life has been full of change. She was found as a “stray,” passed between homes, and even a mama to a litter of pups before being given away. Through all the ups-and-downs, she’s remained nothing but sweet.

She adores gentle pets, ear scratches, and giving soft little kisses to anyone willing to receive them. She’s very well-mannered for staff and volunteers, and while the other shelter dogs make her a bit nervous, she still seems curious about making friends.

We don’t why Buttercup has been through what she has, but we do know this- her days of being let down are over. She deserves loves, stability, and a forever home that won’t give up on her.
