This gem of a kitty is Miss Amethyst. Amethyst came to our facility with her three tiny babies a few weeks ago after being found abandoned at a local business. Luckily, a nice person contacted FDHS and they were able to bring her and her small family into our care to help find them their own forever families.
Amethyst is still pretty scared here and is still working on building trust with humans. She’s come a long way in her short stay but can still be a little moody when it comes to change. She seems to do totally fine with the other cats and is a great mom to her babies. Amethyst does great with the litterbox and has adapted to being an indoor cat nicely.
She will be ready to leave as soon as her babies are weaned. Until then, we are taking applications to help place her in a forever home.
